Disconnection, coupled with gross privilege, has created a society in which many people have grown to believe if something or someone isn’t instantly and perpetually gratifying, then they should be discarded in favor of finding another new, fresh, more perfect experience.

    Thank you for posting this. One of the first and most essential things colonization steals from every people it overtakes is true community. When everythingbis shallow surface interaction, nothing deep or real can happen-so everyone continues feeling empty and unsatisfied.

    All the better for getting us to “buy more stuff!!”.
